JACK SMART is of counsel with the firm of Vogt | Resnick | Sherak. He practices in business, employment, and professional malpractice litigation. His unique combination of 25 years of experience in manufacturing and another 20 years of experience as a litigator is a proven asset in successfully representing clients in mediation, arbitration and trials.


MR. SMART HAS EXTENSIVE HANDS-ON management experience in business and industry, having served as Senior Vice President and Chief Group Executive for Monogram Industries and C.E.O of Spaulding Composites, Inc. His legal experience coupled with his business background is a valuable tool for advising individuals, businesses and professionals in all aspects of business disputes and transaction matters, as well as professional malpractice, corporate compliance and fiduciary obligations.


MR. SMART RECEIVED HIS JURIS DOCTOR DEGREE from Western State University College of Law; graduating in the top ten percent of his class. Mr. Smart became a member of the million-dollar verdict club early in his career. He is admitted to all Appellate Court Districts in Southern California, the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court. Mr. Smart is an experienced arbitrator and mediator and has earned a Certificate in Mediation from the Straus Institute for Alternative Dispute Resolution, Pepperdine University School of Law.
