JAMES D. VOGT is an attorney of counsel with the firm of Vogt & Resnick. More than three decades of legal service has distinguished Mr. Vogt as a trusted counselor, experienced business person, and well respected member of the legal community. He specializes his practice in the area of personal injury, product liability, employment law, wrongful termination, and insurance bad-faith litigation.

MR. VOGT HAS A PROVEN TRACK RECORD of litigation and transaction law success. He has consistently helped clients receive verdicts and settlements in excess of $1 million. Mr. Vogt recently obtained a $6 million verdict for his client in a wrongful termination/insurance bad-faith action.

MR. VOGT BEGAN HIS LEGAL CAREER IN Tokyo, Japan where he helped corporations expand their markets by successfully navigating international business and Maritime law. He returned to the United States where he briefly practiced with a firm specializing in product liability and personal injury prior to opening his own office in 1972.

MR. VOGT EARNED HIS BACHELOR’S DEGREE from the University of Oregon and accomplished his Juris Doctorate Degree at the University of California, Los Angeles. Mr. Vogt has been a member of the California Bar Association and licensed to practice law since 1970.
